Sarah L. calls in to say hello to everyone...

The amazing Sarah L called on Sunday night from Lafayette, LA. She's traveled down there as a volunteer to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. I'm sure she'll have plenty to tell everyone when she gets back. She called to let me know that she's okay. She also spoke of how horrific life still is for the survivors/evacuees. There is massive confusion between different government agencies and not everyone is getting the help they need. Giving money to the Red Cross, while a great thing to do, is not gonna help everyone who's suffering right now. After I spoke to Sarah, I felt proud of her for being brave enough, caring enough, and selfless enough to go down there to help so many people in need. - Eric
