what's that? that. that thing on the horizon. is that... no it can't be.... it is. a website!

it appears there's a website on the horizon.

will it be 100 percent awesome?

i don't know.

but i know this, 100 percent awesome is the goal.

p.s. busy busy busy these days. who isn't? i'm working long hours. but hey, it could be worse. 14 months ago, i was unemployed and depressed. that was lousy. this is fine. just exhausting.

p.p.s. quick flight to the east coast for me this weekend. saturday night, i hope to talk a-rose (he's leaving for 2 years in lesotho in a week) into going into the city, where i will take him out to nobu, we will drink, we will form a 2 man riotous parade through the city night, and on sunday, family stuff. my sisters are so fantastic. really excited to see them. parents too. and grandpa. momma and papa nuggets might be visiting in july. they don't eat sushi, and aren't meat eaters. so where do i take them?
- Mastro's - "Hope you guys like spinach. And potatoes."
- Koi - "Hope you like sleazy Hollywood people. And food like Nobu's but not as good."
- Geisha House - "You guys loved Koi. This place is even more ridiculous, eh?"

Honestly, probably just AOC, Cora's Coffee Shop, Hungry Cat, Blair's, and Alegria.

p.p.p.s. lesotho is not pronounced the way i always assumed it was. anyway, i was corrected today. thank you n-em for pointing it out without making me feel dumb. apparently, sometimes "th" isn't "th" at all. alanis was right. "you live. you learn."

LIBRARIES

Best way to beat the heat: move to the library. It's getting toastier each passing day. After the NYC trip, I think I'll be spending a lot of time at the Los Feliz and Pasadena branches of the LAPL.
